Industrial Gas Springs - Pull Type
When the push type gas springs cannot be used space constraints, ACE control’s industrial pull type gas springs offer the solution. Working in the opposite way to the push type gas springs; the piston rod is retracted when the cylinder is unloaded. The gas pressure in the cylinder draws the piston rod in with a very low progression rate. These offer brilliant performance when things become tight.
The pull type gas springs have body diameters of 15 to 40mm, are self-contained, maintenance-free and come with a standard valve to regulate the gas pressure covering forces between 30 and 5,000N. There are FDA approved stainless steel versions (V4A AISI 316L/316Ti and VA AISI 304/303) also available.
They have been used in the chemical and food industry, in automobiles, plant engineering and shipbuilding and also in medical, military, environmental and water supply technology.
